How to improve rating

I have the ultimate tip for newb's stuck in peril from the ranking system, this tip will be invaluable to just about anyone. Try to kill people while not dieing, and perhaps winning the game at the same time. That will surely get your rank up.

That's a lie. Normally, with every loss I lose about 30 points but when you abort you only lose 15. So you lose less points when you leave the room midgame.

well its really weird how ur rank can be negative. Why cant it be just like socom2?

I was wondering the same thing. Socom2 was just fine with me. I'm a Lieutenant Commander, or whatever the gold cookie is, and even when I win games my rating goes down because everyone else I just beat has such a low rating.

Like everyone else said, it's pretty much impossible to get your rank up. But definitely stay out of the US East rooms. Unfortunately for me, no one is even in the mid-rank rooms, so I'm stuck with them.

I've heard people say that sooo many times, but I doubt the size of the map effects your rank afterwards. I mean, why would it?

Yeah, I had double bars for a week, then they disapeared. Now i am a single silver bar. oh well, rank doesnt make the player, the performance does.
