Played S2 last nite, comparison

So I was bored this weekend and none of my clan was on. I went ahead and put S2 back in the PS2. My screenname was deleted, but I created a new one and logged on.

S2 S U C K S !!!!!!

The fire rate of all the guns is EXTREMELY slow, the maps are soo small. You don't have time to set-up a decent position to snipe, or prepare a good defense for an area. The load times are c r a p.

The only advantge I see is that if your strictly a run'n'guner then you might have a good time cause you get to the action sooner and the games are shorter (rarley run the full time).

So for all you complainers, go try S2 for like 15min, and you will be like "I can't believe I played this s h i t."

What do ya'll think?

1. Fire rate is slow-This is not a bad thing. It makes firefights more focused on accuracy than spray.

2. Can't get to a good sniping spot-How is this bad? Camp-sniping is way too easy and makes the game less fun.

3. Can't set up a perimeter-Also a good thing. S3 is way too camp-friendly. Camping ruins a perfectly enjoyable game.

4. Load times are crap-Disconnects on S3 are crap.

If you've been playing S3 for the past 6 months, you WILL get owned going back to S2, and no, it won't be fun. The difference in the weapons is astounding, as far as recoil and fire rate goes, but that doesn't mean S2 sucks. I've been playing S2 for the past 3 months because my college blocked the S3 ports, and let me tell you, S2 is SOOOO much more fun. I'm not even one of the S3 haters, I like both games, but S2 is so much more intense.

The maps are small because it's 8 v 8. At least it doesn't take me an hour to finish a game on S2. It took me a half hour last night to play all 11 rounds of a game on FH last night. Try doing that on a big S3 map.

But I do agree with you. If you're complaining about S3, go back and try S2 again. If you haven't played it in a long time, you're gonna blow at it, and you're gonna be thankful S3 is so good.

haha..just kidding. S2 will always have a place in my heart How dare you say it sucks. You will never have another experience in gaming like S2 gave to everyone. Maybe you need to get used to it. NOTHING, beats S2. Best years of gaming ever..

i played s2 today for lke he first time since october. its so much different. i thinkits way worse but thats my opinion so im not gunna ***** at everyone who thinks differently.

That was a hard game for me...I was probably in 3rd-4th grade around that time while I was beating that...but Iono I went back to S2 it is different...and yes I agree that the fire-rate in S2 was slow compared to S3 because it focused on ACCURACY!!!!

In s3 you shoot at someone dead on..and you see the bullets fly everywhere...even at a distance while you're standing still CROUCHED...I not a bad aim...In s2 I was RAW...but that was then and this is now...now it's a lotta snipers...I dont mind all the snipers quick snipers whatever... but I just hate the fact that spread on assault rifles have to be so BIG. Why couldn't the accuracy similiar to S2? Distance is another story...I dont mind the distance at all...but the SPREADDDDD....AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

i play s2 occasionally and the guns do shoot way too slow and the recoil is awful

s2 doesn't suck...it's just harder. I wub my m16 actually took skill then. But, i gotta stick w/ s3...sniping is so much more fun w/o m14s and idubs from s2.

But when s3 becomes a total glitch fest=s2 4 me.
