Pixilated Headshot
The other day, I was playing Devil's Road. I think that's what it's called. It's the one where each side has a little town to start in. Anyway, I was playing Seals, using a M-16 with mid-power scope. A Terrorist, in the other city, was using the same thing, I found out later. We were both shooting each other in the head. But, of course, were to far away to kill. We both got up and moved, after shooting about a full mag. But when I did, my screen went all pixilated. Just squares of tan, red and black. I'm guessing this was because of the headshots? It went away, in a few seconds. Didn't happen to the other guy. Has this happened to anybody before?

This happened to me once or twice, I'm pretty sure it's just a graphics bug. Nothing wrong with your game or the headshots, so don't worry about it.

That is the correct answer. You beat me to it tha123!

I guess you can shoot people and mess up their vision from a distance, but not hurt them in SOCOM 3. (bug?)

I'm pretty sure it only does it when you get knocked down by a shot.

I think its cool when you shoot someone in the leg with a M87 or M82 while they're running. They'll like fall down and trip. Its pretty funny cuz you kill them like 2 seconds later.

Yes, I knew it was from getting shot in the head. And I was laying down. The other guy was kneeling. Thanks for the answers! I just love Socom, and the wierd stuff that happens!

Yeah this has happened to me a few times, where the person shooting me is too far away, but it still looks like your getting hit. This screen goes all weird if you stay there long enough, but why lay there and get shot at for that long...
