1. pwn
PWN (verb)
1. An act of dominating an opponent.
2. Great, ingenious; applied to methods and objects.
Originally dates back to the days of WarCraft, when a map designer mispelled "Own" as "Pwn". What was originally supose to be "player has been owned." was "player has been pwned".
Pwn eventually grew from there and is now used throughout the online world, especially in online games.
1. "I pwn these guys on battlenet"
2. "This strategy pwns!" or "This game pwn."
2. pwn
Perfect ownage. Flawless victory. Schooled. Lesson taught. Owned beyond conventional words, and so excited about it, it's mistyped. Usually proceeded by noob.
We totally pwned them 2v2@LT~!
I pwn him, stupid noob.
Pwn the no0bzz!

i heard that it was first like a canadian word pooned. which ment sticking a rod or object up someones a ss. dont get me wrong, laugh all you want i am just saying. and i always thought it came from a typo. notice the O is next to the P.
i always wondered how is this word pronouced

Yep, started off as nothing but a typo, and is now a word anyone that plays games online knows about. Quite the nice definitons, where did you get them?

He got those from urban dictionary ( i think ) because I checked there and at wikipedia to see if it had the origin of the word (lol)

I wonder how pwn was adapted by everyone? I mean one guy mis-spelled own and then just said pwn over the mic or something/forums and then the other team was like huh? And the a legend was born...PWN

guys guys guys, dosent any one know what it means, pwn means perfectly owned, it comes from diablo 2. I heard this about 4 years back, and i always hated it but iv come to like it.
also try NewbZor, also comes from diablo 2
