No doubt... Im an M4 man till the end... I just know that something along the lines of an XM-8 is gonna replace the standard assault rifle used by the seals, special forces, etc.

If you guys haven't found out yet, the XM8 has been cancelled. As in it will not be the one to replace the M16/M4 rifles.

There maybe another XM8, but it will not be the one that we've come to know in Socom3.

thats what im trying to say it may come with a new rifle but hey m4 is the killer

The M-8 can work pretty decent with a bipod. It also works halfway decent in close-quarters areas. Other than that, there is not much this weapon has to offer.

If you are going to use an M-8 with a bipod, you might as well use a Mk-48 with a bipod (better accuracy, and the Mk-48 only takes two shots to kill).
