yeah i have a nice system in here for the ps2...it does make a little difference, not enough that it's a necessity to play...

I have a 1000 Watt Home Theatre System. It can be a great help at times. Say when your sniping you can hear footsteps. I don't know it's as much the subwoofer alone, as it is the whole surround sound expierience.

The subwoofer picks ups deep sounds not light footsteps. You might hear footsteps if Godzilla is coming but I don't think it will help you for little people. The subwoofer will just add more to the game like the explosions.

yeah, surround systems do help the experience.. but they don't keep you alive longer..

Yeah they give the game a more realistic feel and make it more exciting and fun to play.
