keyboard and mouse adapter
I was wondering if anyone has used a ps2 keyboard and mouse adapter to plug into their playstation 2 so they can play socom 3 with it?

if so, is there a specific adapter I need to use or can I use any sort of adapter out there from any computer store?

I'm asking because I have the headset which takes up one USB port which leaves me with only one USB for a keyboard and mouse.

thanks.

Why would you need a mouse?

Only thing you need and can use is the Mic and the Keyboard.

Using a mouse increases accuracy dramatically. For Socom 2 I was using the controller only and when I went to a friends place to use a keyboard and mouse my accuracy was amazing. Now my friend gave away his adapter and along with that forgot what adapter he was using. I use to play Couterstrike so using a keyboard and mouse seems natural.

I hope someone on this forum has a solution to my question.

yeah, i thought of the USB splitter. thing is someone told me the ps2 won't recognize the keyboard/mouse through that splitter. i'm just curious is anyone has used a keyboard/mouse combo to play socom 3 and if so how did they hook everything up.

what if...
what if you have a wireless keyboard and mouse that will run off usb ports. I have the Logitech media key board...wireless and it seems that it should run fine but I never have tried becuase my Ps2 was recently smashed by my brother.

I installed the adapter for my ps2 and I used it. I would recommend this device to anyone who plays socom 3 online. I saw improvement in my accuracy and kill to death ratio instantly. I just wish you could change the buttons to your personal perferences but it is still new for the ps2.

Amazing buy and would recommend it to anyone!
