ive just kinda ran into my past clan members it was pretty weird. try joining different rooms and gametypes because most ppl pick one server to play on and dont switch it up to much. just keep searching and ull find someone sooner orlater hopefully
A lot of the guys that I made good friends with in S2 and S1 I had on my buddylist for AIM.
Most of the guys I still play with I met from Socom 1. AIM comes in handy with these things (as do MSN, yahoo, etc.)
For now, I suggest putting your close Socom buddies on your messenger buddy list for when Socom 4 comes out (if it does). Probably about 80% of my friends list (on S3) are all friends from Socom 1.
You can put up messages in the message boards, like looking for so and so frm socom 2. But it might be really hard to find them since you dont know if they kept their same name or if they changed it. Try to keep in contact with all your friends in the future if you are looking foward to playing with them again.

I searched for old clan mates for S2 for about 2 monthes. I searched the leaderboard looking for any of them. finally relizing that spaces were not allowed in names I inserted hyphens and underscores in their Socom 2 names and I finally found one of them. Shot them an email and got the response and now found all of them. Really brought a tear to my eye.
