Whats the problem with the M203?

Small Map and you do nothing but run around shooting off rounds, then it is extremely gay. No fun at all being on the receiving end of those things. Use sparingly and for certain situations, try not using it as your primary.

I agree that if you are on the recieving end of mutiple M-203/GL-36 rounds, it can be very frustrating. I also agree that there is no such thing as noob weapons, just noob players. One thing to remember is that any given player can only hold a certain amount of M-203/GL-36 rounds. Once they run dry, you are free to engage them.

If the whole opposing team seems like they are spawn camping and fragging everything in sight, just equip an M-8 (XM-25 Airburst Launcher and extra Airburst Rounds). That gives you 10 very accurate airbursting rounds to clear out all the M-203/GL-36 junkies.

I also think that people who prefer to use the M-203/GL-36 as their primary shouldn't brag (people shouldn't really brag at all) at the end of a level about how they consistently owned the opposing team.

Bottom Line: Try to find a way to beat the M-203/GL-36/XM-25 junkies out there. They found a tactic (however cheap it may be) that works for them, so try to find one to counter that tactic.

yea...find a tatic to take those noobs out. maybe go to a high spot with a sd gun and snipe them out. your hard to see and you can pop a few before one wises up and launches a lucky one and you go BOOM

Using a 40mm to engage long-range targets can be tons of fun.

Here's a tip to try:

- When playing as SEALS on Devil's Road, make sure you spawn right by the village. As soon as you start running down to the village, stop right before the opening, and lob 1 or 2 40mm rounds towards the right hand side of the lake. Aim really high because we are talking a long-range 40mm lob. 80% percent of the time, the terrorists have 1 or 2 snipers that ALWAYS pick that area to snipe from. You have only a 50/50 chance of getting them, but if you do it really feels good. Worst case, it might make them think twice about setting up a sniper position there.

grenade launchers are for vehicles and vehicle maps ONLY if you have some skill in your bones....

If you play killing fields fire your gl at the tank or vehicle.... if you run into infantry switch your firerate and aim your gun and shoot somebody for christ sake.

This is the 3rd iteration of socom if you dont know how to shoot or aim a gun by now go play star wars battlefront.
