I think it would be neat to have an option to completely turn the radar off. I'm a realism freak, so I would get a kick out of having the additional challenge of trying to determine who's friend or foe.

Yeah ...

This is one of the reasons I try to NEVER get in a friendly fire room. People not using their radar when they sit there camping the hallway just pisses me off. Or when they're sniping and don't have the common sense to look closely at what they are shooting when clearly your a seal and not a terrorist. And don't get me started with the idiots who can't throw nades ....

I think the radar is vital to the whole gaming process. The radar seeks vehicles, players with the rifle laser, and other bomb/vip situations. I use it every game so much.

Yeah, I'm usually chill until my gun goes up. Then I might get a little trigger happy but either way I check my radar all the time. I play Convoy the majority of the time on Terrorist so I know the chances of where someone is versus how unlikely it is they'll be behind me; so I don't turn and shoot the clan member trailing me because they "spooked" me.

It helps also knowing the range of the radar. It'll show people a fair distance away from you.

I use it to see if my team is around me or if the vehicle coming toward me is hostile or friendly...
