Question concerning the "guns up" feature

I have a question concerning a feature from socom 2, the fact that the gun goes up when an enemy is nearby. Is this feature still in the game i.e. socom 3?

You think the players should run around all the time with their weapons brought up, or do you think the weapons should snap up whenever a shot is fired? lol

your gun only goes up if you can see them, or some part of them, or if they cans ee you. if some guy is proned in a room looking at the wall, you can walk past that house inches away and never get a gun horny. it will probably still eb in there(having it down creates a half second lag where you sholder it before you shoot, its just liek real life)

Too bad you gun wasn't always up and it just went donw when you get clode to a wall or object, but not a player.

well there were times id run by some foliage and my gun would raise, so then id just scan the crosshair till i saw i name and would shoot at that bush. easy kill. i think itd be better without this feature since camping and hiding should be more prominent in s3

Well sorry to burst your bubble but this feature is in S3, and it's basically the same exact thing as S2.

it would be helpful in places where there are a lot of walls to hide behind and weeds to hide in.

Form my experiences, the gun going up still happens occasionaly. But not as much in socom 2. In certain places like in urban areas like citadel I get the gun going up more than maps likes harvestor that are wide open.
