Ok, i'll clear up some things.
Laser Sight:
- Usually Mounted on the bottom rail system of a rifle/pistol (rail-system is the groves you see, like on an M4 where the iron sights are placed.
- You CAN see the laser of another person, if the person shines it on you, you'd see the glare on the gun. If it passes through smoke, you see it in the smoke. If its night, you can see it but its faint.
- About SOCOM 3 and where it will be placed. It might mix in with the crosshairs. Like so...
Red Dot Sight(Scope)
- Its a mounted scope, usually will not magnify as it's only use for more accuracy. It will either have a red dot, or a red crosshair in the middle, which is adjustable for windage/evelation
- Shoots a red beam into the sight which is usually covered with some red material so the laser will not pass through the sight. Hence why you can see the laser of a red dot.
Bipod
- Easy, BI = Two Pod = ...well pod, it means a lot of things :)
So put he puzzle together, BI-POD, a Two legged stand, most commonly put on LMGs and Rifles. Increases stability which increases accuracy. Will NOT affect the recoil what-so-ever.
*Hopefully this cleared up SOME questions/comments*
