The laser probably prevents the crosshairs from spreading out as much, thus making the crosshairs ore accurate. And when you put a laser on your guns your not going to see a huge read beam coming out of you gun unless theres fog or smoke, just a red dot where its pointing.

lasers would suck if others could see em cause they would give away the snipers location - plus I doubt zipper would do that to us.

According to the crappy guide it gives your position away. But it might

lmao, people on the east coast maybe getting it right now, though i doubt it, and it probably wouldnt give your position away, but if the person sees a red dot on them, they know someone is aiming at them and they better get cover

How you gonna see it if it's on you? It's not like you can look down on your chest. it will probably go like this: you'll be playin online an see a red beam

He means, seeing a red light being aimed at you, by the enemy. Like a flashlight, except smaller.

Or probably it can also show in your back, like for example a sniper been behind you from lets say 50 meters away can get you w/ his red beam, and then you can see it on your back.

Last thing you see is you dropped on the floor, or you can just prone quickly or RUN!!!! into cover.
