looks whos wrong a supressor increasing the velocity range and accuracy are you crazy they are meant to decrease the velocity so it lessens the sound and thus decreasing the range and accuracy. and your saying that you saw snipers with suppressed .50s show me actual combat footage not random people at gun ranges

i can prove it is a sigma because i have eyesight. if you weren't a retard you could look at the "9mm pistol" in the game and then compare it to the picture i gave you of the sigma. the "M9" is a beretta M92. i can prove that because again i can see.

Calm it down in here. This wasn't supposed to be a debate about what attachments can or cannot be used on which guns. If you don't have the beta you will simply have to wait to find out. Please stay on topic and discuss the list and/or wishes for additions to that list before the final release. If you read the description of the S&W sigma it says that S&W were brought to court becaus the design was so close to the Glock. So if you claim it looks like a Sigma it also looks like a Glock which can also be suppresed and has 9mm variations. So unless Sony actually tells us what it is we don't really know.

Whilst the Italian guy makes many good points and supplies links... the information doe snot really relate to sniper rifles, especially not the M82/87

You see, these weapons are very high velocity, and that is where they get the stopping power from... slowing these weapons down with a suppressor would be stupid...

The L96, on the other hand, is a much more potent weapon when silenced, as it does not rely on speed to do damage...

And let us look at the point of the M60 and SAW weapons

These are supposed to be loud and proud, doing as much damage to the courage and bravery of the enemy as the flesh... we do not want a silent weapon in these roles... we want a loudener

A suppressor can make a weapon more accurate, but only slightly, but not add velocity, and DEFINATELY not add range!!!

The 9mm pistol is the Hk P9s, not only can it be visually confirmed but the gun was also used by the Navy some time ago.

and btw actually it is possible to put a suppressor on an m60. you can basically put a suppressor on any firearm...besides some giant cannon or something.
