Question about the lock-on

I'm damn near positive I'm getting this for Christmas (along with a headset) and had a question about the Lock On. Can you only lock on to people on screen, or anyone within a certain distance: Like if you're on one side of a builiding and somebody else is on the other side, ur obviously not gonna be able to shoot them, but will you be able to lock on to see where they are?

Nope. You can only lock on to people within your vision.

Now with that said, if you lock on to someone and move behind a wall, you stay locked on for a short time.

thats obviously the shittiest part of the game as stated online it also is there which makes even the crappiest of noobs good for a few kills!

I agree it makes it easier, but the control scheme makes it a little harder. If the people are out of range of your weapon then it won't lock on.

yea, it's kinda easy to kill from behind b/c of the control scheme. but if you look at your hit percentage it's still about 15-25% depending on what weapon you use.

Its not like the lock on is a shoe in for a kill....id still prefer the ol 2 analogs but obviously there isnt the room for that on the PSP

i dont see y sony could of just gotten of there butts and put in a right analog stik there is plenty of rm 4 it on the psp
