something(s) i want
- the effects of wind should be present. The rubbish we saw in crossroads in that brief gameplay trailer should move around along with the tree branches and leafs as well as the powerlines on top of the buildings. Also DUST should move, since there are north african maps and this area is pretty dry i hope this is implemented (pretty much anything that would do so in real life). I personally think this stuff brings the map to life, it feels like the place your fighting in is alive and real.
- semi destructibility, stuff should collapse and blow up to a degree without affecting the balance of the map
- socom 2 style airstrikes (it might be a bit too late now since i guess most of the maps are already well into development but maybe future map packs).
- victory dance, i dont think this has been confirmed by /6
- 1080p graphics if it doesn't affect framerate in such a way that it compromises with gameplay. Maybe have it as an option
Maybe use the six axis function for more things as well - not just leaning.

Just a quick question, have you ever fire one of those weapons, and or at least held one and felt how heavy it was? My guess would be no
Now I realize that this is a game, however there needs to be some similarity between real life and a video game.
Now don't get me wrong, It does not completely hinder the ability to move around, however your certainly not able to just run around like you normally would. It should slow you down, thats for sure, however how much is completely up to Slant Six.

If you actually read my post, you probably would've realized that all you did was repeat what I said.

I really hate the idea of having an SD and a normal version of each gun. Just make it 2 attachments per weapon, and let people pick what they want. In the way it's been purposed, the advantage is given to the SD gun because it comes with a silencer, plus 2 attachments.
I really hate the idea of not being able to fire an RPG/AT4 on the move. At the most you should be able to crouch-walk with it. The same rule should apply to sniper rifles; crouch-walk & prone only. No standing, no running.
|
Where does it say each weapon will have an SD version?
You can prone with shoulder fired rocketz, this has been confirmed.

The entire bottom portion of the list are items moved there after SS addressed and fixed/included them.

People can very easily not only care the RPG-7 itself, but a backpack full of grenades and run on the move.
Enemy in Somalia did it 15 years ago and Iraq/Afghanistan are doing it today. It's very easy to move with one and still be mobile.

Same. They're great ideas but I know not ALL of them are going to be included.
If they even came close, that would be better than Christmas to me. That was an amazing list list, never the less... but anything I say to describe it, would be an understatement.

I want RPG's with SILENCERS!!@22111!!! LAWLZ!!!11
I'm just kidding, but can you imagine that?
I really hope they do something with gun balance. Also, I wish they could do something with the firing of the weapons. In SOCOM II, it was just completely different than in SOCOM 3. It felt different, but in a good way.

Yeah I got that, but when was the last time they updated it? I'm not a math major, but its easy to see they have barely even touched that gigantic list.

You posted it, I don't make this stuff up:

Another nice thing is there will be less confusion on knowing what guns allow suppressors (because they'll already be attached) and (here's the big thing) the weapons can be balanced easier on slant six's end because they'll be separate weapons. Example: (M4A1-SD + 2 attachments) (M4A1 + 2 attachments) (552-SD + 2 attachments) (552 + 2 attachments) (MP5-SD + 2 attachments) (MP5 + 2 attachments) (MP7-SD + 2 attachments) (MP7 + 2 attachments) (P90-SD + 2 attachments) (P90 + 2 attachments) All the primary weapons that you can't put suppressors on would be listed once, just like in SOCOM 1 and 2. (Bare in mind that a lot feel 3 attachments is perfect so as long as encumbrance works perfectly why not have 3 slots?)

The way it is suggested there is ridiculous.

Well it might be just me, however I don't see the corelation between my post and yours. However given my ignorance, and your colossal astuteness, I want to ask for forgiveness if I, miss quoted you in any way. My bad

And yes, I have actually handled an AT-4 before. I've never fired one, but I have held one in my hands and felt the weight.
