Camping was not near as easy in s2. There may have been only one door in the hostage room of dg, but there was a window to throw grenades/flashes, a c4 wall etc. Teamwork helped you kill any camper if you knew what the **** you were doin. In S3/CA no matter how well your team worked together, or no matter how much individual talent you had ([S3] for example, if we weren't working together and was just doing our own thing, we still raped because we had some of the best all around players you could find) its still nearly impossible to take out a team thats hiding int he back right corner of the KF small seals spawn, with a few lean glitch sniping the door (and yet, we pulled it off most every time...)

Exactly!
It wasn't the maps that ruined the game, but the environments within the maps. They got it wrong in s3/ca.
In s2 wherever you were going, there were multiple ways to get there. For example, if you wanted to go on top of the fish market on XR, you could go up the stairs closest to the SEAL's spawn, the stairs outside near the canopy or the stairs inside. Wherever you wanted to go, there were multiple ways of reaching your destination. But, on s3/ca it's totally different. If SEALs are camping their spawn on Killing Fields, there is only one way in. If you go through that door it pretty much spells certain death.
They need to make sure that wherever you are going, you are able to reach your destination via several different paths, not just one way where you will get killed by a corner camper or someone camping with a sniper. That is what I think they need to focus on.

And the roof on Chain Reaction? People camped that so bad that I actually had a taunt that said "Get off the roof, you girlscouts".

There were four ways up there, still more than one. AND it wasn't utterly difficult to throw nades up there through the windows

Even so, S3/CA cannot compare to the low camping on S1/S2.
