Confrontation will have rumble!

Sony recently released a lot of new information, including rumble confirmation. Socom: Confrontation is one of the games currently on the long list of games that will feature rumble. To view all of Sony's updates, check out Zero's thread ( http://www.video-game-forums.com/gen...gs-mayhem.html ), which includes a link to all games Sony has put on the list, located at the bottom of the page in my post.

This is very good news. Playing Socom without rumble does not work for me. From time to time, the rumble will be disabled while I'm playing. For the life of me, I cannot hit what I'm shooting at. Rumble is a must and I'm glad it's in Socom, along with several other games.

I never noticed the rumble enough for me to care if the game came with it or not. I remember when I first started to play SOCOM I had the rumble enabled, but after I dropped my controller a few times, the rumble broke, and I have played SOCOM without rumble since. It's good news, but I definitely won't be running out to buy a new controller just to have rumble.

You play Socom?

And this is good news to me, because I am one with the rumble.

Great news. They must've added more people to their no-brainer department over at Sony.

Rumble is not only important to have for the sake of immersion in the game, it's also a priceless indicator of when you are taking fire.

Agreed 110 %

Once I got my PS3 and played Socom 3 on Siaxis controllers it was the final death nail for Socom. I just got a little more excited for the new Socom.

Does this mean I am going to have to purchase a 50$ rumble controller along with a 60$ game?

Or if you're one of the people that have waited for a good reason to get a PS3, it'll likely come with one.
