PS3 online & Socom... buy or not?

I was thinking, and I know there probably has been a post talking about this and I 've seen one about people complaining about the purchase of online only, but I was thinking, they did this with Warhawk but yet you were able to purchase the game at Gamestop and you were given a free bluetooth headset as well, now if they did this with Warhawk I would assume they would also do this with Socom, since this will yet again be PS3 huge online hit.

I don't know about that. You're talking about the free bluetooth right? If you think about it how many games came with a ps2 head set for the ps2? 1 or 2. Alot of people bought warhawk so I dougbt they will give another headset.

I guess it's possible really. I mean, the original Socom came bundled with a headset, so why not?

That might be a clever marketing idea for Slant Six. Maybe if they did that, they could bring back some old time/hardcore socomers for Confrontation.

I'm pretty certain that they're emulating the warhawk release scheme with Confrontation.

i think what he actually ment was if you will only beable to download confrontation off PSO... As far as i know, No. You can buy it instore and online

I think it should come out with a Mic too.. For some extra money.. Id buy it if it came in a more expensive package. I think many socom fans dont even have a PS3 yet (myself included) many are still playing socom2 or 3 waiting for the next GEN Socom.. So i think it would be a smart deal in there end.

It would definitely bring another aspect to the "roots" view they are going for.

I own a blue tooth head set for my cell and its really nice and works with the ps3. I also bought warhawk witch came with the blue tooth after about 10 mins of playing I thought my ear was bleeding. It hurt so bad I will deffinatly not use it again. If Socom c comes with one I hope its comfortable. If any one wants my ps3 blue tooth message me and I will gladly find a way to get rid of it.
