What's got you most excited?

Since there's a new forum now, specifically for Confrontation, I decided that i would make the first thread in here. But considering this is a Confrontation Online forum, I should talk about Confrontation Online.

So what are you guys looking forward to the most?

I'm pumped for the character customization. I enjoy the little things that make games cool, and this was in FTB2 but not in SCA and that was a huge let down for me. And, releasing new maps annually seems amazing, too (if they follow through with it). This game has the potential to be better than anything produced by zipper.

I'm excited about the clan, uniform customization, since I'm in a big clan, I think this will be very fun for us.

If you're going to make the first thread in a section (big deal, I know) at least get your facts straight.

Socom Confrontation is not being developed be Zipper. Slant Six is taking over.

Zipper is developing a seperate Socom.

Nemanator, only five maps are going to be in the game at its release. A new and revised Crossroads and four other maps.

With character customization does this mean I can pwn noobs on a night map wearing a neon yellow rain slicker? Or perhaps bring back my chef hat and meat cleaver so I can slice and dice all the living bushes waiting a whole round for just one kill?

Can someone confirm that these classic threads will be made available so the game can bring back one of the elements of FUN that the series used to have.

And as for victory dances I request the dance from Airplaine when the dude gets stabbed in the back on the dance floor while getting jiggy with Elaine.

did i say it was being developed by zipper? no. i said it has potential to be better than any game produced by zipper. that means that it will blow zipper's games away because its being made by someone else.

I would love a yellow jacket on a fat man. And the red jacket on snow white background. They better have some of the old ware, but upped to high detail.

I don't think they will let us the customization that much. Where you can choose your colors and everything. I think it will be a certain color and you can just choose the camo pattern. I am very interested on what Slant Six will do with this project. Slant Six has many great ideas and I mostly like all of them. They seem more organized and they seem to bring back what we want and new stuff added on. Zipper never gave a **** what we wanted. They never gave us the best map we always wanted. They never tried to put a stop to the people using codes on SOCOM2. They never released those map packs that they were crapping their pants about in the beginning. If you ask me, I think Slant Six will aid the series. I am very happy that they took over. They keep us updated every now and then, they tell us what to expect and what not look forward to.
