The customization will probably consist of:
1. Colour scheme.
2. Head wear.
3. Upper wear.
4. Bottom wear.
Or at least thats how it seems would be the obvious way to do it. But like SOCOM's in the past, they like to confuse things, so it probably will have an extra feature. Hopefully doesn't ruin it.
Another one I just thought of was maybe a clan logo.

What's got me most excited?
The simple fact that the game will more than likely NOT be like Socom 3 or CA... it really is a no-brainer.
Also - Zipper isn't making it!!! Beers for everyone!

I haven't played Combined Assault because after my clan disband and everyone quit playign because of SOCOM 3's suckiness (is that a word? ha) I sold my PS2 and all of the games.
What's it like? Basically the same as SOCOM 3? Anythign interesting about it?

For information on CA, go to the Socom forums.
The customization will probably be very vast. In the E3 video, each character was different.
I know COD4 is having a very wide range of character customization (even though you'll practically never see yourself ) and that's a FPS. With A TPS, hopefully it will be even wider.

Basically the same game as SOCOM3. If you as me, I would call it a add-on. SOCOM:COMBINED ASSAULT consists of new maps and a couple new weapons. Two of the weapons can't be used Online I believe.
Back to the thread, the thing that I am most excited about is the map Crossroads. Another thing is switching the project over to Slant Six.

i'm excited to finally have a reason to trade in my 360 (it's on it's deathbed) for a ps3.
the idea of playing socom with a bluetooth headset is a pretty cool concept too, but i don't know why.
so far i think the biggest draw for me is the possibility that since a company other than zipper is taking the reins we'll actually get some downloadable content this time.
just imagine being able to download this camo......lol

Even though you may float down that river, Warlock, I don't think you'll get that much wind.
Hopefully we'll get four characters to customize. I don't see why this would change (unless they gave us more, than that's even better) but I would like to make eight different types of characters. If map packs come out of different terrain, they better allow for more characters to be customized. I don't want to be a dessert dressed terrorist in Blizzard.

Hopefully there will be more than 4 characters. I was thinking they would add more, no reason not to.
I wonder how many people per map now? If they're expanding the map a bit, probably more than 16.
::EDIT::
nope, 32 : IGN: SOCOM: Confrontation

Yeah, it's still 32. I'm excited about this. It'll bring a lot more action to have 16 on 16 action in a smaller map. It will be very chaotic.
