First, I would like to correct you by stating that the camera view on all other SOCOM's was not first person if that is what you mean, it was third person. If you mean the zoom camera, than nevermind. But yeah, this looks like it should be a good game. I say good because there are still things that need to be tweaked, like how the guys weren't being effected by recoil physically. As for the Zipper title goes, I wouldn't be surprised if it was single player only, but I doubt it won't have multiplayer. I am definately glad that a new developer is taking over for Confrontation, but not really too optimistic at this time. The only reason being that they have no experience in the SOCOM universe. Sure, they may have done some shooters (I don't know if they have or not), and the video may look promising, but will they know just how to blow our minds like Zipper did with SOCOM 2 & 3 (I say three because even the people that said they were dissapointed by it, I know that they found something cool about it in the beginning, and how cool were the vehicles in the beginning). And as the maps go, yes they are going to be smaller, but not like Fish Hook small, more like Foxhunt (from what I have read and heard). So, all in all, I am looking forward to the game, but I'm not expecting a game that will be so good that I will piss, sh*t, and orgasm all at the same time in awe (in other words, like what some of you doubters are saying, a greatly great game).
