Also the 5 maps are probaly Fish Hook, Sandstorm, Crossroads, New Map, New Map. Looking back I remember playing all three of those known maps more than any other Socom map so I think the hardcore fans will be set for the first few months.
The maps I believe will not be a problem, if they do it right everything will be great, and they're only five months into development so they have a ways to go.

It could be the same thing again for this new game, because Seth is still in charge, and when he was in charge of Zipper, look what happened, so I'm not really gonna trust him on this, unless people really start getting in to the game after playing it, then I'll buy it.

VIBRATION IS KEY!

I highly agree. When I got my PS3 and started playing Socom , rumble free, it took me a while to get used to not having the vibration. I love the PS3 controller, but I'll take back the Rumble feature any day. Whether or not they get a rumble controller out in time with the newest Socom will weigh heavily on how much I play the new game.

I hope they change things back to the "old ways"... I want to have a rumble feature on my (future) PS3 controller, no matter if it's for a new Socom game or any other game.

I'm assuming you have to buy these additioinal maps from the PS3 store, so is the original game going to cost $60. cause $60 is alot of money for 5 maps no singleplayer... JW.

ohhh I totally agree. From what I've heard they have that lawsuit thingy all squared away and it's only a matter of time.

After pondering that idea, I believe the new Socom will be the same price as what Warhawk will be. And of course there will be downloadable map packs. I'm also glad that they are ditching the SP

How many patches did S2 have? 4.
How many did S3 have? Not really sure, but it was at least 2-3.
What else do you want patched? Yeah, rankings were ****ed, but who cares THAT much about the ranking system? The patches actually did quite a bit if you go back and read what they actually did. Remember the spectator/universal glitch? It ruined games left and right, and thanks to the patch, we don't have to worry about it anymore. (well, not we. I don't even play S3 anymore. S2 is still the greatest game ever)
