and heres 2-3 new more screens (look like design plans for the characters and maps to me, not in game )including night shot of xroads market and urban waste...looks pretty neat
The character models look better in that pic showing the light armor/medium armor/heavy armor builds. lets hope they aim to reach at least this level for the game
But it seems that these are more like architectural plans/ designs. Why release these now anyway? I guess we get to see how night time versions of the maps may look like
I don't think they've kept up with graphics since they released SOCOM II. I thought SOCOM II has great graphics back in the day. SOCOM 3 looked like a Playstation One game to me, as did SOCOM: CA.
That was one of the big reasons I hated SOCOM 3. The graphics were horrible.

in this i see that you might be able to have more than 2 attachments this time around
However, I'm pretty sure they accidentally posted these pics from a never before seen photo of S3 or SCA, at least I hope so. The graphics, well, look like chicken poop to say the least.
Everytime there is a new screen or video the more I am loosing intrest in this game. I keep seeing poor graphics witch is ok... But there's also prone roll witch IMO I think is pointless to have. And in the background of that picture it reminds me of socom 3, just an open field with alot of dirt.
If the characters look like that just sitting there I can't imagine how bad it would look online with the lag.
Does any one know how many Frame rates per second socom will be?
I'm not liking the character models, but if the gameplay is solid, that's all that matters.
Exactly. Gameplay > Graphics
Don't judge a book, or in this case a game, by it's cover, or the pictures it shows beforehand. I'm sure they are concentrating more on gameplay than graphics because gameplay was the biggest complaints that they received from SOCOM gamers.
the only interesting part i found was the special forces/character customisation. The most worrying thing was not the graphics imo, but the size of the maps. Anyone seen the new crossroads screens on socom.com? Thats not a map...its like a giant concrete jungle. With all those alleyways and accessible buildings, i reckon the map rounds would be longer than s3
