I here ya, that would be the best way to make everyone happy. Bringing back all the old maps, expecially Foxhunt. I would absolutely love that situation.
And as for idubkiller, it's people like you who ruined the game for everyone. Just because you have no life, no GF's, no friends, and just because you are garbage at just about everything in life, doesn't mean you have to cheat to make yourself feel better. Thats the ***** way out. Do us all a favor, please don't play Socom Confrontation, and ruin that experience for the rest of us as well.
Might have been a little harsh, however, I think everyone can see my resentment for cheaters.

Okay, here is my list of all time greatness maps that should be in Confrontation -
1. Crossroads - The good news is that it IS in S:C! Yeah!
2. Fish Hook - Probably the second greatest map on S2. It had everything including beaches, mountains, urban and all around the perfect size for all types of gameplay.
3. Foxhunt - What a beautiful and well-thought out map. This was the first "open field" map introduced into the series. It was big, but do to the mountains and hills, players were able to easily have no problem engaging the enemy. Not like the overly giant S3 maps where one could go an entire round with only seeing 1 enemy in a full room.
4. Citadel - Probably the closest thing to an S2 map on S3. It was well balanced and just plain exciting to play. Close quarters combat at its best here.
5. After Hours - The best "expansion" map on both S2 and S3. Sometimes, due to the multiple layers of this map, it could be difficult finding the enemy at the ends of the rounds, but it was very detailed and enjoyable.
6. Nightstalker - The perfect S1/2 classic map! It was small, but not any less fun because of the superior layout.
7. Desert Glory - Another classic map, but due to its extremely small size, the beginning of EVERY round turned into a grenade fragging fest. If this map could be spread out more, it would be incredible.
8. Fault - Let's face it, Fault was the most played map on S3. The small tunnels all leading to the giant frag room was pure heaven. The pace and style of this map was ingenious!
9. The Ruins - Another classic Socom style map at it's best. Basically, it is a giant square with ruins and a temple blocking one team's side from the other. Oh how I miss this one. . .
10. Vigilance - Would be my pick for the 10th and final map of the initial release. As you can tell, I love the urban close quarters environments! So many places to go, hide, snipe, but small enough to hunt all of the campers down easily. Another CLASSIC!
So there ya' have it folks. These are my picks of all my favorite maps that I would love see return in Socom Confrontation or Zipper's Socom 4. I just hope Slant-6 gets it right because they do seem a bit "overconfident" that their new maps will own anything else in the past minus Crossroads. Let us pray for them. . . . .

We all did warlock.
Well, since it isn't coming out soon I have some time to put away cash to get a PS3 and SOCOM.
Maps I played most on S3 were:
Killing Fields and Citadle followed by Boneyard. I still miss my last clan as most of us just disappeared off of it.

Well, I loved Vigilance, but I stayed away from anything respawn definately. Respawn was just a waste of time to me b/c of no stats. And at least S2's stats were kept immediately. I couldn't stand S3 was always like 3-5 days behind when updating that crap. There better be a primo way to do it on Confrontation.

I always messed around in respawns so instead of "warming up" like most people did it made me play worse if i did that first so I refused to play them
