I honestly never have seen that but prone jumping was when you were in prone and would push anolog up and slide ur finger from triangle to square makine you really quickly jump and lay down, it wasn't a glitch it was just jumping.

no, that was ninja jumping. Prone jumping was like prone diving, except you'd jump into the air immediately if timed right. Basically, you'd go from a dive into a jump with no transition. Although I have heard people call ninja jumping prone jumping, it's not the same.

If that's the case, I know what that is. I never do it while firing at someone, I would never be able to shoot if I dodged like that, haha.
I have done it a few times while running around, looking for the last person or something similar to that. I would never jump, though. I would be in half of a dive, only to suddenly be standing.
I know what ninja jumping is/was.

Yea, It was really good in sniper battles other then that just to mess around. But I loved that freedom socom three the guy would like pause then lay down then pase then stand up man if it was real life I would not pause and stand I would dive.
EDIT: I just read the post above scuba I know the difference between prone and ninja my discription was vague. You were also able to jump from prone.. Not fly like ninja jump.

Oh, I see. I haven't heard of anything like that until just now. That's odd.

No, thats not ninja jumping. If you laying down, then you press Triangle up square your guy will jump forward. Useful for getting on a table thats inside a building you can't jump in (like in Vig, one ofthe buildings you can get on the table inside). Ninja jumping you prone, shooting and do a slew of button presses to go REALLY REALLY FAR forward, not just an average jump like in a prone jump. BIG difference etown.

Do you think they will have the same weapon selection as socom 3? Or the weight thing? I hated the weight and pmn mines only two for HUGE maps. I hope they go with 3 again. I hated when I choosed M87ELR I was practically over weight...

The weapon selection should definitely be better. After I made this thread, I meant to make another on the encumbrance of Socom. I'll do it right now, actually.
