Look in other Confrontation threads. You'll have an option to switch between the classic Socom view and the "over the shoulder."

Whoever posts next saying it's not confirmed yet, I will personally shave your eyebrows.

Agreed.

The only reason I can come up with that you guys liked Socom 2 so much is because of everyone who played it. The game isn't bad, but it's definitely not great. Sure, socom 3 sucks ***, but Socom 2 isn't the best game ever made.

Confrontation has a lot of potential.

Be careful what you say, Razzor. Allstar might throw a fit.

LMAO

I hope they realize they need to give us the classic Socom view.

Aw, man. Those were sweet places to perch on and shoot people from, and was always good for hide and seek.

Oh well, small loss.

And I don't think any game will ever surpass SOCOM: II.

What I would love to see someday is just a straight up Re-Release of SOCOM: II online, with updated graphics and the customizations for weapons and characters. That would sell like hotcakes.
I agree socom 2 all over again would be great. maybe have it so you can play in new mode with all new weapons w/ 32 players and a seperate classic mode with all the original weapons and settings. the ps3 certainly has the capabilities to give us whatever we can imagine i just hope they give us what we want for once.

I guess I can say for me Socom 2 was my favorite. But that may be, that I was in some of the best clans ever in my socom gaming career, and I knew a lot more people that played. I thought the maps were a lot better not only quality wise than 3 or CA, but just a better more playable selections for maps.
