That's a very good point. This should clear up everything.
There will be "whats your favorite map" topics ever 3 days in each of these sections anyways, judging by how many new people come to this site and randomly start stupid topics like that.

It's not the same thing, though. Questions or discussions about the game will arise that have nothing to do witn the online gaming.
Sure, most topics would be based from the online game, but wouldn't actually fit under an online section, or at least not as well as a general discussion.
If it's the same thing, we wouldn't have a general discussion for the previous Socoms.

Well, in previous socom installments general was for stuff pertaining to either both or neither, but it doesn't matter.
In any case, let's not forget about clans and other forums that could have a separate section from Online. And since it's not out yet, none of this discussion has stemmed from actual online experience and is all just general questions.
