anyone notice that part with crazy lag. and there was a part with a framerate drop
anyway things i want improved:
-more recoil, theres not enough. I mean you can fire a whole clip like that guy did and control it easily, its almost as if every gun is a machine gun turret
-better movement animations. When that guy jumped, it looked akward. Something sluggish about character movements
-better visuals. it's good but there are a lot of ps3 games that are beating this. Some of the walls look like ones you would find in socom 2. Make them sharper, more crisp. I like the character model for special forces but i don't like the suit the terrorists wear although im sure you can edit this
-more destructible environments. all i saw was a car. don't think much of the other stuff would blow up with an rpg.

Please... the graphics in Socom 2 are like warm garbage compared to the Confrontation screenshots.
And people that play games for how "good" they look are playing games for the wrong reasons... sorry, just my opinion. Don't get me wrong, it helps a lot when a game looks good, but I can play GameBoy Advance games and think they still look good... but overall, I play them 'cause they're still a helluva lot of fun.

Never argue with an idiot, they'll drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience!

Just remember, the game isn't done yet. It doesn't come out until Christmas time. Which, of course, is quite a ways away. So they'll have plenty of time to work on the game's flaws.

Pretty much what he said. I don't know what version of the game they brought to E3 but in videos/screens we've seen it's been from the pre-alpha stage of the game. So tuning up the graphics and other stuff like is coming next..
I just finished watching it and I'm more excited than before.
The shells actually look real. They aren't the bright yellow rectangles anymore. Seeing them land on the ground looked like I was at a range watching someone shoot.
Of course the game won't look flawless yet. How can you people even think of complaining yet? Can we at least wait until the game is right around the corner from being put on shelves?
The guns sounded a lot more badass. Much deeper.
Seeing the various characters and what was done to each one had me wanting more.

yeah that was one of the things i liked in the trailer. when that guy was in a prone position (and spamming), the shells poured down and they looked good.
It looks like it will be way harder to run and shoot then the likes of all the other socom games. If you look at it, your guys slow down when your shooting. I don't know If I like that or not. It is more realistic, but
Realistic =/= fun.

1st one: I hated the amount of recoil in S3. I don't want realistic recoil, I want a fun game to play.
2nd: Agree with you 100%
3rd: Visuals look very good imo, especially compared to previous socom titles.
4th: they said something about this in an interview. They want to make the environments destructible, but they don't want the enviro's to be destructible to the point where it messes up gameplay. I agree with seth on that one.
