Successful, do you have a link to this video? There is only one video out on Confrontation right now, which doesn't show that.

Zipper is having some influence on the game, but not on a monumental scale. They are only providing feedback. Whether Slant Six/Sony wants to take it and use it is up to them.

Here's a 2 minute long video from E3 of nothing but gameplay.

IGN: SOCOM: Confrontation Trailer, Videos and Movies

The things I didn't like most were the movements of the characters, they just seem so un-natural. Then the guns not having any effect after being shot was annoying too. But then again, this is alpha footage, so I'm sure they'll fix that in the beta stage.

It was nice seeing how they've made Crossroads. It looks the same with just a few additions, and just made bigger in general.

A funny thing was watching the guys near the end at the Terrorist spawn starting to lag. I really hope this won't be a problem with the final game. But I'm confident it will be lag-free like Resistance and the Warhawk beta was.

My main gripe is just character movement, and if they can fix that, I'll be much more happy.

Oh, before I forget. The camera didn't look too different from the old Socom view. It was more focused on the shoulder, but not too much to make that big of a deal. It seemed like a nice blend of standard Third Person View, and OTS.

Problems.. Maybe cuz its just a BETA, I Dunno.

-They Run like puppets from Team America, World Police
-No "Blank Fragged Blank with some Gun"
-Camera Angle is to GRAW
-If your gonna give crossroads, they should give crossroads. Not some confusing map meant to kinda look like it. =/

Just like Englands mom. You know what they say, the older the berry, the better the juice.

Haha, on topic now: The game just looks so amazing. It is on my to-get list along with Killzone 2. Oh yeah, I gotta add a PS3 to that list.

I liked the new vid, and the new outlook of crossroads. Guns are waaaay more accurate. You could change shoulders in the E3 vid, which pisses me off cause it means we probably won't get the classic camera. Oh well, its so close to the old one its not going to make much of a difference anyway.

Yes you do. You will have the option to switch between Over the Shoulder, and Classic Socom third person. It was in some interview thing, but i don't have the Link.

*EDIT: Here is where it says the above stuff
