Hello, prospective recruits. Alpha Squadron is currently recruiting; if you are interested in joining Alpha Squadron, then please, let SoggyMilk know.

*History*

Alpha Squadron is based on a clan that the leader was a part of in a little game called Rogue Spear. In Rogue Spear, teamwork was paramount, for one slip up would allow all members of the fireteam to endure failure over and over. I've brought this clan over to SOCOM 1 and 2, and will extend it into SOCOM 3.

Currently, former members of Alpha Squadron are split up into different clans. RAED TACTICS being one of them (Leaders being POLARIS 44, and BLADE, both former Alpha Members). If you've played against them, then you've played against former Alpha's that were trained and made more efficient by being in The Alpha Squadron.

*Objectives*

In joining Alpha Squadron, all recruits are to be disciplined and ready for a Militarily structured clan. If you think of teamwork as being a group of people sticking together and running and gunning....I believe the term is "raping"... then this is NOT the clan for you....

However, if 4 Four-Man squad moving together securing objectives, then this will be the clan for you. Our objective in this clan is to have fun, but to take it seriously at the same time. If you think you're the one for us, please, take a look below.

*About SoggyMilk*

I take, and give, no bull from the members of the clan. Every member is expected to have top-notch rifle ability, and must qualify with the M-16 first and foremost in order to acheive the Rifleman badge; which is necessary to join a squad. I've lead many clans into combat, and I've trained many people, but one thing remains the same. Love me or hate me, I'll make you better at efficiency, and playing as a team in this game than anyone ever could..

*Recruitment Info*

All new recruits will be phased in. There are 3 phases that must be passed in order to get accepted within the clan.

PHASE ONE:

You must contact SoggyMilk or a Recruitment Official.

You must then follow the instructions that are laid out for you, meaning that you must play one game with SoggyMilk in which teamwork will be used, in order to assess your accuracy, situational awareness capability, and your ability to work together, and also your tolerance level.

PHASE TWO:

After phase one is complete, phase two begins; phase two goes as follows... You will be accepted and after which you will be brought to Boot Camp.

In Boot Camp, you will learn the basics of teamwork, you will learn the core values in this clan, and you will also learn how to be efficient and masterful with your weapon, with stealth, defending an area, assaulting, and supporting your teammates.

PHASE 3:

Phase three is where you will have the Alpha Squadron Recruit Tags, however you will NOT be a bonafide member. at this stage, you are a prospective member, and must play, and practice with the clan for a period of 2 days to a week. After which, you will be a bonafide member (meaning you will receive your invitation), and will join us on all clan ventures...

Thank you for your interest in ASQ. ASQ is a tactical clan that will take in tactical minded people over skilled people. We succeed as a team and should we fail, we fail as a team. There are no lone rangers here. There are no Heros. We are a military structured clan with a ranking system that recognizes a chain of command. If you cannot take orders from higher ranking members, do not apply. As your tryout, we will test your in game skills and your brain. You do not need to "pass" the test to get in. However, it will affect future promotions within the clan. It is merely an assessment test to see where you stand. However, there is another part to this that you must complete......

After you've posted the above information; you will then have to play a 2v1 match against 2 ASQ members. The 2 members will be selected at random by an Executive Officer. You are allowed to use any weapons/tactics you wish during this match. The ASQ members are not permitted to use ANY attachments at any time during the tryout. That is our way of evening the playing field a tad. You will be briefed in the game lobby beforehand as well. GOOD LUCK!

Step 2

Should you pass the test, you will be placed on our recruit roster known as the "ASR Roster". At this point, you will be required to complete the basic training regimen before being added to the main ASQ roster and officially becoming an ASQ member.

I. Infantry 101
A) Accuracy Test
B) Movement Training
C) Basic Infantry Training
D) Basic Recon

Phase 2

II. Advanced Infantry Training
A) IADs
B) Fire Sectors
C) Setting Up A Perimeter

III. Operations Training
A) Stacking Up
B) Communication

Phase 4

IV.Boot Camp-A compilation of all tactics and operations learned.

After completion of any of the following prequisites, any Exec present will update your recruit profile with what modules you have completed and will make notes of where progress is needed. We add recruits to the roster and assign them to their units within the clan on the 12th and 24th of each month. The faster you get your training completed, the faster you can join the ASQ elite! Guys like pre said, ASQ is really good with a good leader who is strict for the very reason to keep a strong clan running. I'd recommened this clan to anyone looking for a good tactical clan.

Hell, BIZZLE, I'd reccomend this clan for someone looking for a well thought out and structured playing environment. One where you won't have to hear constant complaining/whining about what guns people use, nor the lag that's in a game.

Thank you for those who're currently showing interest in joining ASQ, however, as it stands, we've reached our maximum alottment of new recruits at this time, we are no longer accepting applications.

However, when a position opens up, it will be posted in this thread for you to view at your leisure, you may also check current recruitment positions that are open by clicking on this link: Alpha Squad's HQ

We can only have a maximum of 8 recruits at a time, as anything more than that disarrays the organization and processing of new recruits, and all those spots have been filled.

From this post down, no more applications will be considered and/or responded to untill a slot opens up. From this post upwards, however, if you're still trying out, contact me on the forums.

[ASQ] is currently recruiting yet again. Our age limit has risen, and we're no longer accepting new members aged 18 and below. We apologize for the inconvenience to potential enlistees, however we seem to be experiencing issues with the younger crowd.

We're actively looking for members who have managerial skills, who know how to handle a group of people, and also know how to organize and make the "job" of those people made more efficient. If you're qualified, please post here about your previous experience, and a decision will be made regarding your enlistment shortly.

We're actively looking for members who have web-design skills, who know how to make a proper website, and know how to arrange/organize the site such that it appeals to a massive audience. These people must have past experience, and must also have a record that's viewable by the executive command within the clan such that we may reach a quick and decisive position regarding your enlistment within the clan.

Please be forewarned, that even though we are searching for people with managerial and web-design skills in their repertoire, that does NOT mean that you will skip the regular recruitment tryout. All [ASQ] members are "Tactical-Owner"'s first.... Everything else comes after.

I have 2 questions:
Does anyone in your clan play from 9am to 2pm cst? I work an eveing shift job(4pm - 1am cst M-F). Does the ASQ clan utilize M203s?

We've only got a few = 2-4 who play mornings. And yes, we use 203's, but abusing the 203's will lead to expulsion from the clan.
