Red Cell (OP-06D) was a Naval platoon created by Richard Marcinko (aka Demo ****, The Rogue Warrior) with the purpose of testing the security of US Naval Installations around the world. Of course this was just a front used to deploy his team of shooters and looters into the most dangerous areas of the world covertly. Their real objective was to stomp out terrorism wherever it my hide. Marcinko hand selected the men for these units. The first platoon was comprised almost entirely of Seal Team 6 members. Seal Team 6 was the first US military unit devoted completely to terrorism. Marcinko created, commanded, trained and formed Seal Team 6 into his own deadly image. It is still regarded in the world as the most elite fighting force.
Red Cell (OP-06D) ia a Socom clan that parallels its ideals with those of this elite fighting unit. We lead from the front and never ask our men to do things we haven't done ourselves first. We have Rules of Engagement and a strict Communication System that is implemented to make the clan more successful during battle. We also posses a Command Structure with CO's (Commanding Officers), XO's (Executive Officers) and Squad Leaders. We believe that you can only have fun after doing the work to ensure success. We refuse to compromise our ideals and goals. We work together and play together. More importantly we hunt together. Red Cell leads the way for our Socom community. Do you think you have what it takes to be a part of the elite? Red Cell is an elite tactical clan that operates above the norm and maintains a high standard of discipline among its ranks complete with a structurized military chain of command.
NOTE: FAILURE TO READ AND COMPLY WITH REQUIREMENTS MAY CAUSE IN DISMISSAL FROM RECRUITMENT.
Here are the preliminary requirements for consideration of recruitment into Red Cell:
1. Must be at least 20 years of age or older. No exceptions.
2. You must be an active player. 3-5 nights a week with three being the least, as we are a very active clan. We have clan breakdowns of maps, scrimmages, online tourney's and many other events so we are only looking for players with time to become an active member of our starting unit, which doesn't happen overnight.
3. You must be a team player. ie: learn to take tactical commands from our officer in the interest of the team. Also we have a very basic but solid communication system (commsys). You will learn this during your recruitment.
4. You must have AIM. This is our main form of communication other than S3 online. The other officers will need it to contact you at times during recruitment possibly for involment in rooms for scrimmages etc...
5. Upon entry into Red Cell you will be required to pay a $10 membership fee. This fee goes toward maintaing our site and forums. It is a small cost for what we get out of it. If you are used to "clan hopping", this clan is not for you.
