Capturing Mercs

im pretty sure you have to win the game you restrain them in. if you lose that game, the stats dont count, thats why there is no game save thing that pops up whenever you lose.

I know this might be kind of late to help answer your question but for anyone else. In my game the stats are only recorded if I restrain them if I tell able or bravo to do it the game doesn't record those as going towards the badge or your career stats so that may have been your problem. Hope I helped someone at least.

smoke grenades will dummy up any merc is they are even slightly touching the smoke. so dummy them up on smoke grenades.

capturing merc on the game is dumb you have to stand behind htem and move around.i gt mad some time and shoot them again.

i find the best way to capture mercinaries/hostiles is to shoot them in the neecaps and fire a large caliber waepon such as ak47/m16a2 in their general direction the blighters last only a few seconds before they give up .... easy

I can't remember the number of the attachment, but the pepper spray thing, works real well. Depends on how the bad guys are. If they haven't been shot, or smoked up, I think it takes three rounds of pepper to get them to give up. But you can shoot it pretty quick, so it works well. You get three mags of 15 shots.

absolutly correct. i was having the same problem. you have to capture the guy your self and restrain him, if you have any other team member do it, it wont count.

kinda like the mercy badge, it says complete the mission without any member of the fire team killing, what it does not tell you is that you cannot kill either.

Same thing happened to me, had 11 captures (coulda had 13) but only credited me with 9.
