I'm an old man and this is an old game so I supposed it would never suprise me again, I played it so many a time.
imagine this:
I got to the third bunker, lase on it, the pilot drops a bomb, next thing I am told that I was supposed to rescue that Marine, not kill him.
Now, maybe it's nothing but I cannot stop thinking how cool this game is.
Anyone experienced a similar thing?

ROFL. That sucks ***. I love this game, it's so fun so many years afters its release (single player anyway). I personally Feel that SOCOM had the best single player out of the entire series.

couldn't check that IGN walkthrough cos it goes funny when I try to find anything about socom.
recently played Prison Break and the chopper wouldn't stop pouring the lead even though its crew couldn't see me.
I reckon it was strange cos I've never seen it before and I played this mission scores of times.

Once the chopper in prison break killed me and Mr. Pickles after we had extracted and the game wouldn't let you move anymore... luckily it still counted

Yeah, a similar thing happend to me in Temple at Hohn Kaen.
I restrained the Ambassador, then a tango appeared and dropped him, though I still finished the mission on that occasion.
