I just now read this.
There are a helluva lot of ways to beat Deathblow. You can wait for the guys to come on the left first, kill those two, then rush for kitten; or you can keep going left, kill all those guys, defeat all the MGL weilding enimies, go for fat cat, go back to the spawn point instead of taking the back, thus saving you the hassle of killing like 15 people, and then grenade/ambush kitten. And those are just two.
