S1...Easiest socom game.

Last night me and a friend got bored of S3 for the night so we signed onto Socom 1 (for me, the first time in couple of years). And at first I was getting owned (don't know how though..I use to be ranked 38 in the game before the cheaters came), but after a game it was rediculously easy! I mean one round I killed three people then ran outta ammo and killed 3 more with my mark 23 SD! One game I ended up probably 23-4 just messing around.

your probably right about that for online but the single player missions are the hardest in the series

if your accurate online can be the easiest game, since you die so fast and the guns are so good. take a look at the spray in socom 1 vs socom 3.

In socom 1 the guns are accurate

In socom 2 the guns ride up

In socom 3 the guns spray


Ride is better than spray. Since the main way of changing the accuracy of a weapon in socom 3 is by spraying, you need a lot of attachments to be able to get the accuracy. If the M16 from socom 2 was introduced unaltered into socom 3, it would be a bigger newb gun than the f90


In socom 1 the players recive more damage in the extremities, there is no health meter to tell you if you should camp or not, you get knocked down on your knees in pain if you get hit, and the weapons are more accurate.

IF you know what your doing, online in s1 is incredibly easy

but single player on the other hand, is FULL of terrorists, provides "little" suitable cover, horrible team AI, ok terrorist AI, accurate terrorists, seemingly endless, hard objectives, and much more.

Yea, thats why it was so easy for me. But I mean im just shocked at how odd it is. I was running around with a damn M60 and it was as if not more accurate then the AG-94 (IMO, most accurate S3 gun w/ attachments). And the getting knocked down thing isn't true for the vets who bought it when it came out. Since you can just reload and you slide around.
