thats the thing tho, they're only better to some people. Most people, including myself, love the new features and guns in s2 and s3, but, and i think you can agree, is that s2 and s3's single player modes is rediculously easy. For those who love a challenge, can play s1 for hours.

Comparing s1 to s2 and s3 is like comparing the best apples to the best oranges to the best peaches; they're all freaken tasty and its just a matter of preference between the three.

Socom1 is still way better than 2 or 3. And i have been playing since day one.

MadMax your Sig is too large for the forum rules. Yes s1 is better in single player but online its pretty good. The guns shoot straight and the maps are always fun. sure there isn't many players on s1 but still it's great a few glitchers/cheaters but if there is leave that room.

i agree with u people like the new guns and attachments but me i like a challenge on single player because i dont have high speed internet or a network adaptor. so a challenge on single player makes the game fun for someone like me

You are very unversed for saying that statement, "Forget Socom I, drop it off on the side of the road and forget about what actually began Socom from the beginning?" You're crazy! Socom I will always, and forever be here to show itself as probably one of the most addiciting PS2 games ever to be developed in the world. Socom II - III are only half of what Socom I is really about ya know? Yeah, I enjoy Socom II - III, but Socom I has the history. I will always play S.1. for as long as I game. So should you all who don't as well, it's provided alot. Without it, none of us could of been any Socom Players.

I still think Socom 1 was the best, I just don't get bored of that game. Even though S3 boasts a million more features, it can still get boring believe it or not.

I have a blast while playing Socom 1 it's easy IMO and there's a very small amount of cheaters... Also you can rank high easily due to the large amount of unactive members it took me a week to get in the top 200 and i was only playing about 2 hours a day..
