use an M63A cause it is accurate and you can pump 75 sweet sweet bullets into people

My always-works strategy: Use an sr-25 sd or m4a1-sd, no double ammo, as the mission equipment. Get in the base stealthily using these weapons, but once you are in, drop it (unless its the m4a1sd and still has ammo) and pick up the 74. Waste everybody, picking up ammo along the way, and complete all of the objectives. Do this AS QUICK AS POSSIBLE and RUN to the ruins afap. Hide your team and the guys in there and then just camp. When the chopper comes, fire away with the 74, you shuld down it without running out of ammo. However, if you complete everything fast enough, you should be able to run away before the chopper even shows up.

My SOCOM I is messed up for such mission. The Chopper is invisible to me... It really sucks.

I recommend standing in a doorway. This will work with any chopper. While you're in the doorway, you will not get shot at. The helocopter will circle you and you'll be able to shoot at it from perfect safety.

ive completed the game now. i did the prison level with an m203 and m4

when i beat that mission i used the m4a1 with double ammo and frag. alli did was put pickle and bravo in a building and ran to the armory with boomer and ran upstairs and shot it while looking through the doorway.

I thought the exact same thing, its not your game. Thats how the game was made. The chopper blends in with the sky... Yea I know, b.s.

when you put on NVG's does it show up?

I've taken it down with an MGL i picked up. Not easy, i tell you.
