I play SOCOM 1 all of the time just for the single player missions. The missions are so retardedly difficult it was fun! I am currently stuck on the jungle mission where you have to kill Bad Dog (I think that's his name) and rescue 3 hostages too. The accuracy of the enemies blows me away and I can't even begin to imagine what the difficulty of the game would be on admiral. I only beat Ensign and I'm on Leiutenant now.

u mean City of the Forgotten? surely it's one nasty mission and surely it's tough on Admiral but the difference between Lieutenant jr and Admiral is smaller then between Ensign and Lieutenant jr.
want some help?

I have a good plan and strategy, it's just that playing SOCOM 3 for a long time then hoping back to SOCOM 1 is a big change in itself. I can destroy that mission if the enemies gun accuracy wasn't so rediculous. I think what gets me the most is that they still fire AND HIT YOU when you shoot them and they lean over or stumble backwards from being shot and wounded.

The closest I've come to beating the mission was getting all of the hosteges secured and THINKING I killed all of the terrorist in the extraction area (seeing how I ran through it three times) and I just haphazordly ran to the extraction wanted to get the mission over with but getting owned by a guy in a tent. Pissed me off so much.

You can try giving some tips or a walkthrough but I'm sure it will be similar to my current approach.

I was thinking the same thing. The terrorists accuracy throughout the entire game (even with the M63A somehow) is absolutely rediculous. I will be sniping in on them with an M87ELR and they will become omniscient and spin around and pop me with two shots. You have to be one step ahead of them the entire time.

I'm afraid it's all true but believe u me, it can be done. M87ELR is one of 2 weapons which equals 1shot=1kill (or many if they make a line), the other is M82, but they can be used for certain missions only. if we're talking here about Deathblow (mission 12), in my opion those two are absolutely no good.

Oh I have been the game on the first two difficulties. I had to use an "online-type" approach to it because the sitting back doesn't really work. I ran around quick sniping and running and gunning to get the job done.

I'm stuck in mission 5 on lieutenant in socom 1! That stuff's hard as hell. In socom 2 though i beat upto captin and had like 7 missions done, but then i saved it to my armaxaccount and i forgot the password, and they don't have anything to help people with accounts who have armax. i beat s3 on admiral. GAmes toda are increibly easy. I sat down and beat chaos theory. I literally just sat down on the couch, started from the vey beginning, and 6 hours later i got off the couch with a beat splintercell. yet i'm stuck on mission 6 in pandora tomarrow and on mission 2 in the original. Crazzy. And I think it also took me three sitdowns to beat black.

SOCOM 2 is way too easy. I beat that game completely (Ensign to Admiral) in one afternoon and it didn't take me but a few hours either.

As far as the running and gunning is concerned Go Pre, that just doesn't work for me. Too much in the open and the terrorists own your mom.
