well i played S1 S2 S3 i bought s2 a bit later then 2months after i bought it my cd was half broken i lost my favo maps!!!
i sad i stop whit socom i started whit nfs online and i got my computer 2
i played some games at my computer but that was getting bored was missing i started again but cause of some prob i can't play online at my ps2
my dad hate's it when i go do that - realy SUCKS i dunno why he hates it
then i got my headset broken the 1 of s2 i used the 1 of s1 broken 2 rofl
i broke only 2hs's i bought S3 2weeks after it my hs is broken i was tired of buying damm HS's i still got all the socom's but i actually don't play
they all miss me i'm sure :( i just left socom dunno if i ever come back
i play mostly at my comuter Wolrd Of Warcraft OFC it rocks

but i'm still wondering who took my name -_-
well bb i found my post long enough

Socom wasn't released until 2002.....


Anyway, since on the last page everyone gave their standings on teh game, here is my thoughts:

Online:
S2>S1>CA>S3

Offline:
S1>S2>S3>CA

They need to make a new game, with the SEAL feeling of the offline part of socom 1. Then make the online with guns just as powerful as socom 1 (Put a couple good and average assault rifles on each side, like at least 4), but with a few bad guns to **** around with if you're bored (See: 552 in Socom 2), and a few pwner guns to just let loose with if you're having a bad day (IW, M14). Use the attachments sparrringly (dont make them nescassary to have a usable gun. The guns of socom II probably had the best mix of accuracy and realism, but socom 1 style shooting mechanics are preferrable. Attachments should be just that, attachments. Requireing you to put on aim enhancers just to have a prayer to hit someone is retarded. Attachments should be used for other things like scopes, bi-pods, suppressors, grenade launchers, and extended magizines- nothing else). Add in the CO-OP from CA and you have the perfect SOCOM.... hopefully.

no socom game will ever compare to part one. The majority of original socom players agree.

Im dumbfounded at how this could be the 2nd most viewed thread today...

On another note, I was also dumbfounded that neither Walmart or K-mart had a copy of Socom 2 when I went today. Those stores never have the new games on time...so I thought they'd definately have the older games in stock... nope.

I've been having the urge for 'Frost Fire' lately.. I need something to keep me from thinking about COD4.

if i go onto socom one in is there usually enough people to play a few rounds? also what about cheaters, do people still come on and screw around, because these newer socoms suck!!!
