We have a signature area and a graphics area, but why don't we have a writing area?
What if you have some fan-fics of video games you want to share? What if you want to create an RPG based on an environment or idea of video game?
I think we need a writing section or a RPG section. Or both.
This was brought up before. If I remember correctly, it was decided that it wouldn't gather enough use and that if someone wanted to do something like what you mentioned, they could post it in the Off-Topic section.
we also had an RPG section, but nobody ever posted or debated about anything, and I dont see it anymore.
Now i could be wrong, but im pretty sure there was an RPG section at some point. Maybe not.
I dont believe we ever had a Computer RPG section... The popularity indicator for that type of stuff would be noticed in the 'Computer Games' section...That section has been dead for awhile. I doubt creating a "World of Warcraft" section would bring people surging in. But I could be wrong. Since the game has at least 10 million subscribers..
Im still unclear of the "Writing" section. What kind of stuff would go there ? People writing Poems, etc ?
It could work an RPG and writing section.
I have some friends from another site, they like video games and they are avid RPGers and writers.
I can convince them to come here.
I think it would be me fun that way.
Especially when you can create games and stories off of your favorite video games.
And I'm sure with there writing skill you guys would be wanting to join the RPGs they have.

I didn't like the idea when I first looked at this topic a week or so ago, but now that I look at it again, it's not really that bad of an idea to be honest.

Obviously, I would not mind a writing section. I know that would be one of my favorites, and it might just inspire me to post more of my stuff. I say give it a shot. But I wonder how many writers we have here?
We all have various talents and I believe we should show them off.
Some of us may be talented in graphics, some more then others.
And some of us are talent in writing.
As a video game forum, as I find video games a form of creation not on our part, but certainly they give us ideas, I believe we should be able to show off all our talents.
I think everyone should get a chance on showing what they are good out.
I'm good at graphics, but better in writing.
I like the writing section idea. I would definitely post in there. It could just be a combo section called "Literature" which encompasses discussion on books as well as allowing people to post their own material be it original or fan fiction.
