MGS4 for LBP

That looks like a kiddy game. I played the demo for 2 minutes.

Whats so big about it ? I dont understand..

OMG.

I don't think there is a demo out... but maybe you're thinking of the trailer which is so awesome it makes you feel like you're actually playing!

This game has the most innovative physics, has a seemingly INFINITE degree of possibilities as far as game play goes, you can create your own levels, and is just really fun to play no matter what kinda mood you might be in. It has gotten rave reviews from anyone who has reviewed it.... basically...

IT'S KIND OF A BIG DEAL.

I really hope you consider adding a section for this game. You can make Zero 2000 a section mod too if you're in a giving mood, he's cool because he got into beta before everyone else and was publicly recognized as having one of the best levels in beta.

This seems like a good idea, but realy though, since the number of people on this board that ive noticed even have an intrest in this game, i expect it to die quicker than the MGS board.

I have created a level or two, but i really dont see the huge deal everyone is making of it. Still picking it up tho. Need some PS3 games.

We do have too many Shooter games in that section.

But will this game really have stuff to talk about...Besides its initial success ?

Out of 10 reviews, every single one has given it a 9/10 or 10/10. So it must be something worthy.

I still dont even understand the game. I guess I should read some of those reviews.

That's the beauty of it...a main component of the game is USER CREATED maps. That can go on forever...while other games like MGS4, there is just going to be the same levels all the time.

I suggest putting up a board (and making me mod of it) unless you want to get bombarded by "PLAY MY LEVEL!!!!" threads. Because it is gonna happen. :P

Im gonna throw my 2 cents in, which is gonna sound more like devil's advocate more than anything.

Play My Level threads arent really a problem, simply creating a sticky for them would probably easily solve that problem.

And if activity really is as low as you say it is...the current staff should be able to handle the load. Libs call of course, just putting it out there

Fair argument, but for threads people are posting about the levels they make, it could get very complicated very quickly... poster 1, 2, and 3 all posting they made a level, 4, 5, and 6 are replying and reviewing 1, 2, and 3's levels... you get the picture.

I think activity will pick up once people see how awesome it is. I think right now, those who aren't fans like myself are pretty confused about what the game is all about til they've played it themselves or watched a few videos (Lib is a good example of that, lol)... but I agree, I'm sure our mod squad can get the job done however this swings.

We have too many mods as is.

The next decision is whether or not to replace MGS4 with Fable 2..

Im not into it and not getting it...but it seems like everybody else is.
