Now, I know this is something like the Myspace system, but how about something along the lines of Kudos? Or maybe reputation.
There are a vast amount of posts that I have read in the last few days that I would love to give thanks for.
It was just something that popped into my head and I thought I would share it. I apologize if this has been posted before.

We used to have a reputation system but it wasn't long lived. I think people started abusing it, and then it turned out to be +rep "Because ILY" and it lost all worth.

Like others have mentioned already, we had a reputation system a while ago. It was severely abused by many and was eventually removed. In my opinion, we are better off without the reputation system and I would not want it back.

I thought I had remembered something along those lines a while ago, but I wasn't sure. I'm still all for the idea, but not having isn't a loss to me.

We have a reputation system in place. Your esteem is constantly being measured and changed on this site. We all see your posts, what you contribute, and your online persona. Nothing is overlooked. We don't need an automated system built with flaw to tell us what we think about you overall...
Tags would be nice, but I think the reason they were removed was because it is a tad immature when compared to what we are about on these forums. I think your post count and date joined will suffice.

I loved the rep system and I'd love to see it back..... I mean we had the same issues anyone else has with the same system, but it still served a purpose.

Why don't we do it that only mods can give the + rep or what ever. That way it would be more fair.
