Call me old fashioned, but what's the point in trying to make this forum similar to Myspace? I don't know about you guys, but I can live without that stuff. Was this your idea Lib? Do these features add more cost toward the website?

The new features cost nothing. Their included in the latest version of vBulletin.

Myspace ? The only time you see anything even remotely similar to that is when you view someone who made their profile fancy like that. Myspace is the last thing I had on mind.

Yeah, for the guy that has his own personal font color, you wouldn't think you'd complain about customization options.

I guess there isn't, really. I don't see a need for it, but that's because I probably won't use mine. I'm not putting anyone down if they want to use it as such, I just think this is a forum, and a forum first. I guess I'm just worried about this site changing into something that I would stop liking. And Omega, I have my own font color because I sometimes have problems with some shades of colors, and having a different color font from everyone else makes my posts pop out when I'm skimming through old topics, or after posts, so I can read my text more quickly without having to go name by name. I remember I used to post in green on the old forums, because the background was that tan color. I still miss that color forums, and I wish I could have an option to switch my background color pallete to that.

Anyway, I used to do that on the old forums because it helped. Now I just do it because I'm used to doing it. I don't have any problems on this forum, except when people type in really dark colors, then I can't read it unless I highlight it.

I don't care for the new profile its to confusing right now. I'm sure I will get used to it but right now its just confusing.

That's exactly what I was thinking to myself when I first saw/heard of this. Now that I really think about I doubt it will have any effect on people's perception of the forums.

This is also the only forum I have ever signed up to as well, and I don't regret it. I usually read some threads and what not from other forums, but never been interested enough to sign up. There are too many tools on the internet, logging in and trying to be something completely opposite than themselves. For the most part everyone here is really cool.
