We need a Text-Based RPG forum!

We need a forum where we can come up with our own characters and stories, and others can join in on the story and help develop it. Basically, we could make a forum where we make up our own game with RPG elements. This would be a really good idea and I know a lot of other people want this. Thank you.

I'm not trying to jump on your back, but you've been here all of a few hours, how do you know a lot of other people want this?

I don't think I fully understand your proposal, but if this is simply related to RPG games, we already have a forum dedicated to that.

Well, when I mean a lot of other people want this, I mean that I'm sure that some other people want this. If you've ever seen any other forums, they may have had a forum where people can create RPG like stories. Then they make up their own character, then they tell other people how to create characters. Once everyone has made a character, they sort of start creating the story. It's basically a story written by several people. Does that make any sense?

As I said, we have an RPG forum, this could easily fall into a thread and perhaps be stickied. New forums are only made if a demand for them exists. For example, if a lot of people were posting about books and various read materials, a forum dedicated to that is more likely to be made.

Yes, I do. However, I don't think the demand for it is needed right now. A thread would do fine, perhaps a sticky if it was popular, if you follow my drift.

The idea is that you make a thread and it will be stickied if it's deemed an appropriate action later.

Well Nerdy, it may not call for it's own forum, but at least you can start one of these stories up by making a thread in the Other Systems or Off-Topic Discussion forums.

I'd suggest starting the thread with an explanation of what it is and how to do it, and then provide your own sample story. Contain it all to one thread and see where it goes.

I think Grace Saunders has some competition.
