Actually Wabba is doing the requests and I am doing the SOTW.

Dio, you know absolutely nothing about this. The rest of the GS cannot give assistance to Wabba if he takes a request before we get a chance to view it. It's not as if we are telling him to take all of the requests, he is doing them on his own.

Bloody didn't do anything, that's the point. When Bloody was in charge, we had one section, with no sense of leadership or organization.

Boba, I do understand why you want to have other members doing requests as well as the graphics staff (create more connections, easier on us) but there are a couple reasons why I disagree.

This renders the gs useless. What makes us unique is that we take requests for the community. Without that one thing seting us apart from other members, we may as well not have a graphics staff. I'll use an example from previous threads like this. Having non-gs take requests is like having all members moderate forums. Why do we not allow this to happen? Because they do not know what is best for the forum, as by voted by staff now and before, non gs members may not know graphics as well as the staff. (Notice the may, those of you who get offended easily). I really take pride in being on staff and being set apart from the regular members and being able to give back to the forum in this way, and I feel that having other members who have not been recognized as Graphics Staff takes away from this.

I think as long as we have a Graphics Staff things should stay the way they are. The requests and pickup forums are for the GS use. Anyone else can take request via PM if they wish. All they have to do is put something in their sig stating they take request by PM and just sit back and wait for their inbox to fill up...

What if there was a new section called "Shats and Giggles" (patent pending) where the GS could throw requests they don't want to do.

Then all the GS posers could have at them rather than have them sit there neglected while a certain few individuals who make horrible or impossible or just plain ol' boring requests feel so gosh darn worthless... ?

Just a thought... take it home... chew it...

Then again, as always, changing absolutely nothing would work as well, I think.

Requests that remain open for a long period of time aren't because we are lazy or don't want to do them. If a request stays open, there is a problem with it, which a GS member has contacted the requester about, but they have failed to fix it.
