profile updates

I know this is for suggestions but I have a question and couldn't find where else to put it. Why is it after you make or update your profile (like with a sig or whatever) it doesn't show up on your posts that you have made, but it does show up on ones you post after you make your changes to your profile? I know this will be locked but can it be answered first? Thanks.

I don't really get what your saying. To show your signature on all your posts you need to check off "Show your signature"

Just to clear things up, I think this is what he means:

You get a new signature, and you change it in your User CP.

Now after you update your profile with the new signature, obviously the new signature will show up in all your posts after that point.

What he has noticed is that your new signature does not show up on any of your OLD posts (OLD, meaning posts he made before he updated his Profile with the new signature).

I'm not sure why this is, but maybe you have a better understanding of what he is asking Pan, and possibly know the reason why this occurs/how to fix it.

I only like looking at old posts to see my sig after I update it..found out I couldn't do it that way, so I just click "Preview Signature" so I can see what it looks like....

If you don't have a signature then there is no "Show your signature" check box when posting. That's why it doesn't show up if you add a sig later. You can go back and edit the old posts if you want and check the box for it.

Yea i noticed the same thing Romeo. I just use the preview feature now too.
