The Media section shouldn't be exclusive to the Dedicated SOCOM Forums. We should have a General Media Section for any kind of video that deals with video games.

I know that the media section for Socom 3 was made because there was a boom in video topics being made, so to keep the S3 online section somewhat clean, they made a media section for videos and stuff..in other words, there has to be a high demand/enough threads being made consistently for a new forum to be created..and in which case, I don't see that many media topics that have nothing to do with Socom.

Or the prospective game sections for each game being posted. For example, Halo 2 videos could go into Xbox 360 Shooter Games.

Yeah, we don't really need a general media section. We just have to be a little more resourceful. It's not like a lot of people post videos anyway.
Although it would be cool if we could enable html on the forums and then we could embed YouTube videos on the post...but alas, that would cause problems with morons who would abuse it.

It could be done but in the past Libertine has kept it disabled because of possible security risks.
On topic:
I would be against the idea of adding a general gaming video forum but in favor of moving the current socom video forum to the Misc section of the index and renaming it. That would give one place for all user made game videos and it would help draw more people out of the socom section and into the main part of the forums. Just my thoughts anyway.
