Help required on "Urban Sweep"

I need help with the Urban Sweep level.

Commander Difficulty

I can get through the whole level up tothe point where you have to take the Hostage from the room you find her in to the van across the city. I get shot and killed every time. Does anyone have a good tactic for getting through this. The girls with the 9mm subs always get me, there are like 20 of them and they keep coming.

Go into the compound through the bottom entrance, take the intel on the table, and leave bravo outside on the ground. When you get the cell leader or whoever she is, take her into the room where the mounted machine gun is, get her into the corner by the door you just came out of and tell her to get down. Then go the the machine gun, and tell bravo to move forward up the hill, in small incriments. when they get to the top of the hill, follow them up with the hostage and go to the extract. I think theres one or 2 terrs in and/or around the courtyard by the extract.

yes thats essentially what i do, except I do most of the killing the the mounted turret. its so useful

I bring a sniper the whole game and once I get the hostage I snipe any people high up then grab a differnt gun (9mm) I have bravo lead and jestr in front of me so they take out everyone n front of me. All i have to do is take care of people to the sides when walking hrough the crate/box/water area

It might take a while but if you crawl through the whole level and keep a low profile then all the terrorrist will be in a spot that you can take a clear shot at them with a sniper rifle....I would leave bravo right in front of the secret entrance and tell them to get down...Go up get the hostage and tell bravo to move to extract...Mount the machine gun and cover bravo untill 5 sec's after you can't see them then follow them to the extract...Thats what I do :)

I just tell my team to clear the extraction point, then tell them to come back, and then tell them to clear to the beginning of the level, but dont let them go too far; just enough to clear out the right side of the area, then i tell them to clear extraction again, and come back. It almost always works, and you don't have to deal with random spawners as I did. Everytime I played that level and the demo lab level, I walked past a certain point and then a ist spawned behind me or next to me and just butted me.

Im trying to complete the game to get that Dark Blue attire for online. This level is starting to piss me off. I just cant beat it. I've put Jester for watch & I planted Satchels near the plane. The plane just wont explode. Any advice?

If your talking about the missile levels you have to plant C4s on all the missile site launchers.

When you are in the basement drug lab pick up the rpg nest to the barrels in the corner. You may have to use some equipment slots to get free space. Then shoot the rpg at the plane.

This is exactly it. It is the easiest way to do it unless you have AT4's unlocked then just strap up with one of these. What I do is just sit up on the cliff edge and fire the RPG/AT4 into the center of the hanger (normally can't see the plane from here cause it's too far but it hits anyway) and listen to the HQ b-tch say whatever she says.
