really need some feedback on this clip....
ok this is scene 2 and 3 out of five scenes total for my demo reel.
I really need some feed back on this before I do the final reel.
    how is the modeling?
    how is the textures?
    how is the lighting?
    how is the shadows?
how is the overall placement and layout?
    how is the scaling?
    how is the form?
    how is the positive/negative space?
    is it overall believeable?
    how are the details?
    how is the terrain?
    how is the camera movement?
    how is the quality?
    how is the overall environment?
    how is the animation?
    how are the colors?
    how is the contrast?
    how are the props?
    how is the concept?

end note: the first scene goes static and zooms out from the tv at the begging of this clip and the end of this scene is going to transition into the fourth scene.

sometimes it's hard for us to differentiate between ordinary members just out there to spam their videos, and ones that took the time to actually do something good.

It looks good and professional to me.

true I see what you mean,
but I am at the point to where I the clips just look incomplete to me and I just don't know why?
I post stuff in these forums in the hopes of becoming a better artist and I can not get any feedback what so ever, the teachers and the students don't help me much and all of my friends that aren't artist say it good.
I thought by posting the questions that I hope to have answered that it would help a little bit as far as what I needed to work on.
    it's just frustrating.....

    how is the modeling?
The Modeling is Fine although I would Suggest making the barrel Slightly Larger. When next to that 2 story building it looks miniature and the size difference just looks off.

    how is the textures?
The Textures are nice, but I would suggest adding a little color to some things, like making some of the Stone reddish in nature, almost like Brick or clay stones.

    how is the lighting?
    It's Great no complaints
    .
    how is the shadows?
    Same as the light.

how is the overall placement and layout?
I liked all the layouts, Except one alleyway, but I can't pinpoint what it is that's bothering me about it.

    how is the scaling?
Except for that Barrel, everything looks good.

    how is the form?

    how is the positive/negative space?

    is it overall believeable?
I feel more to the background would make it feel so much more real. I know I can see some Mountain/hills in the background, but maybe some trees, field, something. It just feels like A plain Grey Matte background/sky.

    how are the details?
Maybe add some trash or Random rocks to break up the look of the ground.

    how is the terrain?

    how is the camera movement?
Jittery, If it's not to hard to Fix, I would try and do something about it.

    how is the quality?
It's good, It reminds me slightly of Fallout3 meets L4D.

    how is the overall environment?

    how is the animation?

    how are the colors?
You need more Color, you can drab out any color just put some in.

    how is the contrast?

    how are the props?
You need more in some spots, but most are very well placed.

    how is the concept?

I am slowly getting the information that I need and I will begin to go back and start to fixing all the problems that I will go back and look at the barrel but thanks again for pointing out all of the stuff and answering everything.
